As far as I know it`s been made, and it`s called Can`t buy me lunch. Warner Brothers have bought the rights to it, but I don`t know if a release is set.

As far as I know it's a movie. From what I've heard Eric Idle plays the interviewer dude asking about the Rutles 30 years later. It's supposed to feature the Archeology music.

From what I hear Eric Idle says it's up to Warner Bros. to release it. it's not up to him...
