Singer Barry White dies


Barry White had been in poor health for some time
American soul singer Barry White has died in Los Angeles at the age of 58.
He died at Cedars Sinai Hospital in West Hollywood on Friday morning, according to his manager Ned Shankman.

His hits include You're My First, My Last, My Everything and Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe.

He had been ill for some time, suffering a stroke in May, following kidney failure last autumn.

Barry White will be missed by many. I will always remember him as the Undisputed King of Romantic Soul music. He was a brilliant writer, arranger and producer. A total innovator his music set many trends, and fore ran the Disco craze by several years.

His music was always positive in nature. Something that is saddly lacking in current trends.

Barry, I'm sad to see you go so soon.
