I'll start with a classic...

Don´t throw rotten tomatoes on me, but my classic "love is painful" songd are"Wasting my Time" and "You don't understand me", by Roxette.

Also, "Cryin'" - Roy Orbinson version (perfect) or k.d.lang (also great).

The one I will always remember as a break up song is Harry Nilsson's 'Without You'

Probably "Angie", by the Rolling Stones. I've gotten to a point that I can't even listen to it anymore, it's so sad!

I remember driving around after a break up long, long ago, and hearing Tracey Ullman's "You Broke My Heart (In 17 Places)"...which made me graemlins/cry4.gif ....and then realizing I was crying over a Tracey Ullman song, which made me graemlins/laugh2.gif and feel much better (for a few minutes images/icons/wink.gif ).

Also, sad songs can be nice company if you feel the same~ inevitable sometimes in this life. images/icons/smile.gif

I guess this fits the mold for this thread but I enjoy "What it Takes" by Aerosmith.

There are a number of others but I can't think of them right now.
