I just heard about it...what can I say... She will be sorely missed. She was my favourite during all these years although it feels so inapprotiate now...I feel sad.
She was the person for british people during the second world war.
God save the Queen!

It's sad being British I have grown up with her always being around and it is sad when a person dies, but not because she was royalty.

It is with great sadness that i inform you that Her Majesty the Queen Mother died overnight at age 101.
She was born Lady Elizabeth Angela-Marguerite Bowes-Lyon on August 4,1900,and in 1923 married Prince Albert(later HM George VI).
She had 2 daughters-HM the Queen amd Princess Margaret(d. 2/7/2002).
God save the Queen

This also shocked us at our home here and many in our country, being so matched with the UK and with having a Royal Family status.
From what I experienced she was a support to so many in and out the UK.
My feelings of respect go out to the family and friends and the UK people in general.
Saw a lot of footage on BBC yesterday; she was a beautiful girl when she was young, did not see that before; but she was also beautiful in the rest of her life.

She was a wonderful person and will be missed by everyone in both the UK and the rest of the world.
Rest in peace Ma'am.

Britain didn't just lose the Queen Mum.
The world did!
She will be missed, indeed!

The Royal Family has certainly been hit hard, first Princess Margaret and now the Queen Mum. What a sad time, they will be missed.

Yeah, God Save the Queen.
I liked her. The Queen Mother was a very classy lady indeed.
