This is so heart-breaking for me...I totally adore his bones and I just know that I will never get to see him. I love Ade too. I have seen every episode of Bottom and it would be so great to see it on stage. I wonder how many more years they will tour? They have done several Bottom tours before and maybe - just maybe - I'll be there in the future for one of them!!! Those guys are just such fantastic actors...they work so perfectly together and MY WORD do they make me laugh!!! I practically had to be carried out of Guesthouse Paradiso...luckily I was in England when that came out because it went straight to video here.

I am so jealous but very pleased for you Harb. Enjoy.

I don't know what it is about Rik but he is so amazingly sexy. I really can't work out what it is about him. I had this dream about him a while back that we were in love and it was such a happy dream for me!!

I agree Lucy. I think they're very funny and competant actors. When Rik had his accident (Which they refer to as his 'bump on the head') I actually sent him a get-well card as he was in one of my local hospitals. (Well, about 20 miles away). I got all the Bottom episodes on video as well as the 3 Live videos. It was fantastic! I couldn't stop laughing all night, especially when they messed up or put a heckler back in his place. There was this one person who wouldn't shut up so they said, "Everyone point at him and shout W^%(£R!" and "Here comes security. Let's here it for security!" and the entire audience cheered!

I loved it in the 2nd half (where they were in this bomb shelter like place with 2 shutes) and they were talking about the actors that played them. Rik actually joked about the quad bike accident that nearly killed him.

Richie - "You know, that sad fat bloke who fell off the quad bike a few years ago."

Eddie - "I knew I should have fixed the brakes better."

When I was actually watching it though, I didn't actually feel like they were actually there, 30 feet away from me. It felt like a giant TV screen. They looked exactly like they do on the TV (which helps). Richies voice was a bit deeper than I expected, but who cares?

If you can ever get the video, buy it! I am because I want to see what parts were adlibbed.

He was exactly the same as he is on video. His voice did sound a little odd at first, but I'm guessing that was down to the sound controls, because it changed to it's usual tone about half an hour into the show.
