You've probably seen our Dutch referee offering Beckham about 9 places round the 16 to try and get it right via a free kick which finally Beckham did in a fantastic way.

How do our Greek members feel about that?

That was a great goal... And I'm glad England and Italy made it to the World Cup. Argentina also.

And I'm not talking about Chile.

Funny how they always allow about half an hour of injury time for certain teams to get the goal they need.

Hopefully Australia will qualify. At least then I'll have someone to cheer on.

Becks just did it right and perfectly http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/clap2.gif

I am glad England made it, I am not glad Italy did it... I won't live for a month during the WC, you never imagine how seriously they take it in Italy http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/bigeyes1.gif

Another thing I am an Holland supporter as well, so sad we didn't reach our goal, I'll miss the oranges going throught the CUP and beat Italy one more time... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/hammer2.gif

It's going to take another 4 long, painful years to get over the fact that Yugoslavia and Holland didn't make it. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

Well I can't talk about football without suffering a pain in the chest (we are the worst team in South America http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/shocked.gif ), but the last team qualified is... Uruguay! They won the play-off against Australia (how 'bout that Boris - lots of australian people crying were shown in the news!) so they're basically in.

Good luck to England, (especially) Italy, the USA, the South-American teams (especially Argentina). As for the other teams, we'll wait for Germany 2006. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif
