Then you are to know that it is far for the contents of the original book by Pasternak. And it's a shame for me if you are thinking of Russia and Russian people just like it is shown in this film. If you want to know, which episodes are absurd in this movie, e-mail me: irina@beatlemail.com.

Hey, you know what my very favorite movie is? Urban Cowboy! Totally, my favorite. I know, don't laugh, but it really is. If you aren't from the South, or from the the US for that matter, you might not appreciate it like I do. The movie is hysterical, and so true to what life was like in the 80's in Texas. The soundtrack to it is soooo good too! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

Roger does want to know the truth. Haven't been around. The spelling is closer to Zhavago. Whatever, sounds like people know the movie. Before e-mailing the guy in Moscow I'll say what I think, then check it out. First of all don't think I can isolate my thoughts of Russia to just the movie. There is the history channel on cable TV. They are going through WW2 and Hitler invading Russia now. From the little history I have read it seems every time there is a new power there it goes to their head and they get greedy and corrupt. Hitler broke his treaty with Russia when he invaded. Treated the russian people like shit like he did everybody. The revolution, I know not all people were communists. I can see why the peope wanted to change things. The rich have it all the "the people" don't like the way the rich keep it that way. Don't get me gong on this one. Huh ABCKO? I feel that way sometimes and people in the US to some extent are feeling that way to. I think (and read). Guess I don't have much of an impression as I am out of ramble. I think the Russian people are like people all over. People do the best they can in the situation they are in. OK now I will e-mail you.
