Well today is graduation not my own personal one but I am performing at graduation. Anyway, does anyone know some good graduation songs? They don't have to be about graduation like "Graduation (friends forever)" just any song that is nice and reflective, ya know.

" No I'm a mocker."

Same one sung by Green Day I take it? Great song, I like their version. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Uhhhh, yeah, I'm a total idiot. That's who sings that song, NWM. I guess I had Seven Mary Three on my mind. That's a great song! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I'm assuming you mean Another brick in the wall part 2, the we don't need no education song.
By the way, the graduation was beautiful and I cried like a little baby.

My youngest "graduated" from kindergarten Friday, and would you believe that lil ham stood up in front of an entire school gym full of parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and actually read an entire book, cover to cover... with appropriate voice inflections??? What a gal!
My oldest "graduated" from elementary school yesterday... this one is also a ham. In the 2nd grade, for the awards ceremony, she portrayed Elvis on stage (with white rhinestone costume, greased up DA and all), complete with the moves that made Elvis the Pelvis infamous??

"Daddy's flown across the ocean/Leaving just a memory/A snapshot in the family album/Daddy what d'you leave behind for me" on Part 1 it was also quite adequate... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

HeyBeatle, was this a high school graduation?
Man, I didn't shed ONE tear when I left high school, I was too busy being excited about the fact that I never had to return to that hellhole again! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/jumping.gif

Oh I was crying cause it was my friends graduating. I still have a whole stinking year left in what you appropriately called "that hellhole". I just bawled cause I knew that besides my drama buddies, who will never really leave, I wouldn't see all my other class of 01 friends again.

Or was that by Seals & Croft? Sometimes I get the two confused.

I totally understand. Some of my friends are leaving this year, it sucks. Of course, We've only known each other a year, so I can't imagine what it's like when it's 3 years. We'll still go out and stuff, but not seeing them everyday is going to be tough. Geez, and on top of that, 1 of my best friends moved away cause her parents sent her away. It was weird though, cause we went to a concert on Saturday, and Sunday I got a call that she had moved. AND, another one of my really close friends was sent to a continuation school, cause he's bad. It SUCKS!!!

I know that next year I'm gonna lose it, I'll be bawling my eyes out and more than once to because we have an awards ceremony too which I'll undoubtedly cry at. The only person that will out cry me is my mom because she started crying just thinking about me graduating.
