Warning:
There is a new virus circulating... Its name is
the Deadfall Virus. If you get a letter with the
subject "Watch for Deadfall," delete it IMMEDIATELY
without reading it! It will wipe out your hard drive.
It will wipe out any disks you may have in your
A:/drive. It will wipe out any CDs in your CD Rom.
Such is the power of Deadfall that your computer will
begin a complicated Heat-Increase program that will
melt all of the circuitry in your monitor. If you are
connected to the internet through a phone line, it
will erase the Phone company's record of your number
in its databases. Deadfall is a self-replicating
virus, and will wipe out all of the other phone lines
under the same last name as you, within seconds of
your reading the letter.

The Deadfall Virus will travel through the melted
circuitry of your computer into the main wiring in
your house. It will make your blenders, microwaves,
dishwashers, radios, clocks, table lamps and plug-in
electric blankets malfunction, but not your answering
machines. It will set off your home-security systems,
announcing to the police that there is a 27-year-old
male caucasian with a gun threatening to kill you if
you don't give him all of your argyle socks.

So powerful is the Deadfall Virus that you
yourself will become infected with it. It will make
you cough. It will make you sweat and shiver
simultaneously. It can be passed from family member to
family member, passing from one strand of DNA through
the skin to another similar strand of DNA. It will
give your dog rickets and your cat hepatitis. It will
make the wood rot in your house and the metal rust on
your car. Such is the reach of the Deadfall Virus that
it will harass the spirits of your dearly departed,
going beyond the grave to enact its programming.

No, school's been out for a month now, thank God. And yes, vacation is what's coming up, I can't wait! I just might be going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame hopefully...
