I am going on a partial business trip to Tuscany, Italy http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wave1.gif from 9 till 13 May, and won't be able to post http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cool1.gif or moderate Crackerbox Palace http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/nono.gif , and maybe I just happen to see George and Olivia, http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/clap.gif if they are still there.
Back on Sunday 14th though.http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wave2.gif

I guess that when I say this to a caribinery (police) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/afraid1.gif I won't be able to post or moderate for a long period of time
Thanks all, I have plenty of time in the program for 'sports and leisure.

Well, back from lovely Tuscany http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/flower.gif
Not seen George.
But at this seminar, the last evening we had a very good German band in the bar and they included a 30 minutes Beatles compilation in Sgt Pepper outfit.
And there was a guy in the restaurant playing music on an electric guitar with the usual backing by tapes and he did a good version of While My Guitar, sounding like the Anthology version.
So I did not see George but did have some Beatles music anyway. The first time I came into the restaurant on the first day of this event, the first music I heared was She Loves You, which is my all time fav.

Glad to have you back, man. Things were pretty much alright while you were gone. Had to break up a couple of fights, but nothing serious. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

Glad you had a good time 'working' in Tuscany. May I ask just where in Tuscany you went? (I know I can 'ask'. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/rolleyes.gif )

We were at a resort in San Vincenzo, a coastal town on the shores of the Thyrranean sea, about 90 kilometers south of Pisa.
If you wanna have a look; http://www.gardenclubtoscana.com/indexx.htm
There we had the basis and the business sessions http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/beer.gif and we were able to do trips to Florence, Siena, Bolgheri and Elba. We went to Elba which is a lovely Isle, very touristic and a lot more than only the Napoleon story.
It seems that Sarah Ferguson has a lover there, Franz Beckenbauer (german footbal giant) has a big house which I saw, The Pope is a regular visitor and Tony Blair produced his youngest child on the Isle.

I guess he decided if he couldn't beat the Italians, he'd join them. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

It all sounds 'too' wonderful. I have actually driven up that road from Rome to Pisa, some years ago. I just loved the colour of the sea. I've been to Florence and Siena briefly also. How I would love to go again.

Just go again.
The water indeed is so clear, it's been a long time since I saw that kind of clear water. Actual Blue.
