i heard the saddest thing today in geography. We are learning about Asia and he said that people in China make about $1 a day. People in India make .50 cents a day. China has about 1. 26 billion people in their country . India has 1.26 billion people in their country and is about a 1/3 of the size of the US and we have 285 million people. There is a little over 6 billion people in the world, over 2 billion just in China and India. Both countries are rugged, so the population are all crammed on the coast. My professor was also describing India, how you could see how skinny people were and you could go around the corner and find a dead homeless person. I was in tears. I wish there was something I could do to help. And there is enough food to feed the entire world, but so much of it is wasted.
