I wanted to do a poll like this and I don't know why I didn't.
It's still dificult even tho there is only 4 songs to choise from. The problem is that I can't choise between two of them.
Tears Of The World might be the best of them all, but it's already completed and not a demo version like the others. Since it is already well known, and I must have have this song at least 4 times in my colection by know it isn't my choise.
We now have a comercial break.

I never cared much for the finished version of "Save The World", but I love listening to the demo version. It has the beauty I can't find in the finished version, while I am still not fond of the lyrics.
"Here Comes The Moon" is the same, and it was hard to choose between that and "Mystical One". But the "Mystical One" made me discover the song, till I heard this acoustic version I never realised that "Gone Tropo" had such a beatiful songs as "Mystical One". If before the boxset came out, someone had mentioned "Mystical One",
I would have gone, "Mystical One"? do I have it, what album is it on? So I voted for "Mystical One", tho all three acoustic versions are beautiful, and a great addition, they weren't on any bootleg before.

I chose "Here Comes the Moon". I think it's beautiful! I love the song anyways, and hearing the demo of it is really cool.
I like all of them, so it was a tough choice!

I could have written most of what you wrote, Legs, apart from the commercial break.
I took 4 because there are four in the box (mm that's a movie tittle)
But I realise now that Tears Of The World isn't actually a demo.
Save The World also is a song I do not play that often, but this demo... I love it when George goes acoustic and on this one there is so much difference with the album song with all it's synts, horns. One can really hear the chords used.
What a beauty !!! Thank you Harrison Estate. It made me discover the original album song again as well. It's like with a song as Soft Hearted Hana, I discovered the real Hana years after the release of the album graemlins/smile1.gif .
Here Comes The Moon - I played the first 10 seconds and I thought "Mary Hopkin" graemlins/smile1.gif but verrrry quickly forgot about her graemlins/laugh5.gif . Contrary to Save The World I softly whisper the slide parts here hehe.
Mystical One - Oh this is a beautiful song but I had not played it long time. But yeah this version is absolutely gorgeous. It makes the album song even more superb.

There are maybe some of you who can give their opinion about it now?

The "Mystical One" demo is something that stood out for me when I got the boxed set. It's really, hauntingly beautiful. The released version is also good, but it's great and fantastic to sort of 'get rid' of all the 'synth' production and hear the basics - the guitar and the lyrics are the most important thing in this little gem. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
How many more demos could be flying around there, and will we ever get a "George Harrison Anthology" boxed set or something, with them on it? http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
