I was going through some of my bookmarks in my George section of 'My Favorites' and came across the "Cosmic Empire" website that has information about George's involvement The Radha Krishna Temple. website: http://www.cosmicempire.freeuk.com/radhakrsnatemple.htm

There's a section on George's devotional songs. Here's what it says about "Sat Singing":

Sat Singing ~ "I feel such joy and call your name, you’re everything my eyes could see, I’ll gladly kiss it all goodbye, stay ever in your company - Sri Krishna!” 'Sat'- eternal, 'Om Tat Sat' (The Absolute Truth, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the eternal.)

I didn't realize the "sat" meant anything other than sitting. Gives a deeper meaning to the title.

I believe Om Tat Sat refers to the devine sound.

It implies that God is breath of life force itself, and you will recognize those words from another song.

Sat is also described as "the bliss beyond creation experienced in deep meditation."

This is also a kinda George 'pun'... images/icons/smile.gif because Satsang (or satsanga...or satsangh) is where devotees have a time to gather around a Guru or highly enlightened person and ask spiritual questions, which the Guru then answers. Devotees can save up/write down questions and ask at the monthly Satsang, for example. At SRF they even have one for the children, which is so sweet. So, instead of "satsang" George uses "sat singing" graemlins/laugh5.gif ...typical George humor. images/icons/smile.gif

This is from a site, which explains better than me, lol....
"Satsangh is the company of a good person. 'Sat' stands for godliness, 'sangh' for company.
Company of the sants (saints, which word came from sant) ennobles, educates (in a higher sense) and 'purifies' us. Purifies means removes from our mind greed, lust, pride, jealousy, vanity and delusion. We generally see these defects in other people. But in Satsangh, I start seeing them in myself, because I am in the Satsangh basically for myself, to correct myself."

That, by the way, is SingingOm's website! It is really so special.
