I was just wondering who might be planning on buying Concert for George. Also if you plan on buying cd,dvd or both?
I know I will be getting the dvd, but I haven't thought about if I'll get the cd.

I'd like to get both. After seeing the movie, I would really want both topping my XMas wish list. images/icons/smile.gif

Both for me, plus the Concert for George at a theatre in Amsterdam.

The economy of my family will probably collapse, but I want both of them. The DVD first, then the CD, later, I guess. I can't wait to see the whole thing, especially now that I watched Jeff's performance of "Give Me Love" images/icons/smile.gif

Not have heard the concert yet I have no opinion about whether I would ever listen to a CD. However it will be bought as a collector's item. The DVD is the one that I am looking forward to.

The DVD is the number 1 priority for me too. I would like the CD as well to listen to in the car but I can wait for a bit for that.

Since it is not going to be shown in any theaters in these parts, I'm definitely getting both.

DVD, definitely, but probably not the CD. I never listen to live albums and if I ever do have a hankering to hear it, I can always put on the DVD and go in the other room so I can't see the picture. images/icons/wink.gif

The double-disc DVD set will feature one disc with the theatrical edit, including concert highlights, interviews with the performers and backstage footage. The second DVD disc will contain the unabridged concert.
The two-CD set will feature the audio soundtrack to the full show.
The catalog number for the CD is Warner Strategic Marketing 081227454462

I'm not sure if I'll be picking up the CD or not either. The DVD, absolutely, but the CD can probably wait a while.

Both! I've been saving up, and in case my parents aren't getting me the CD for Christmas, I'll just purchase both. It's such a beautiful concert and tribute to George and his great music, I just have to get both. :-)

Both. My birthday is two days before, so I'll be able to afford both, plus LIB..N, and the expanded Two Towers DVD

I´m going to buy the DVD now, and later, probably in the beginning of 2004, I'll buy the CD.
You know, it's Christmas time, and I don't owe a bank, unfortunately.
