Have you ever noticed that a lot of George's solo albums have a cover track on it?
How many of George's Albums had Cover tracks on them for instance:
ATMP: If Not For You
Dark Horse: Bye Bye Love
SIE: Hong Kong Blues
Cloud Nine: Got My Mind Set on You
Brainwashed: Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

Are there any other ones?

George was very good at doing covers. He made them his own. I am particularly fond of the Hoagy Carmichael covers. Not so keen on Bye Bye Love.

If you download Hoagy's version of Hong Kong Blues, you can hear how great George was at those.

Not too many people seem to like Bye Bye Love. I don't necessarily think it's a 'bad' cover, I kind of like it, but I have a problem with George's vocals on it. Also, the painful subject matter makes it a bit hard to listen to when you're a George fan. But I appreciate his dark humour here.

I quite like Bye Bye Love, it's a bit messy, but at least he did not copy the original graemlins/sleep2.gif

I really like the fact that he didn't copy the original version. In a way he improved it. images/icons/wink.gif haha. I thought he did a pretty decent drumming job too; I say this as a non-musician. Jim Keltner said that George was a good drummer. I wonder how he would compare George's drumming with Paul's.
