New image on All Things Must Pass website

Via a report on Abbey Road's newspage I found out that the website has a new and beautiful image.

When you go to the site and just let it be for a while, a new image will show up and it is beautiful. On my computer it took a few minutes to show up.

It is a mountain hill and has religious symbols on it. You better have a look yourself.

In the early days of the site, if you left the opening page on your screen long enough, the George figure eventually sprouted wings, the background would dissolve, the winged George would fly upwards, and the picture Stan sent would appear.

The picture is one that is from the "Songs By George Harrison" collection, which would make the artist Keith West. "

I noticed that pic in Dec 2001- but I thought maybe they had just added it then. Looks like its been there since the site's inception. graemlins/lookaround.gif and its so george too graemlins/smile1.gif

Ah, this is a print I have hanging in my hallway! images/icons/smile.gif When Songs by GH came out from Genesis they were originally going to reproduce limited edition lithographs, of I believe it was around 30 songs. This is the litho released for Here Comes the Sun~ it was either 200 or 250 copies were made, along with the same number for the litho for Taxman and Piggies. There is no writing on the mountain, though I see it could look kind of like it. images/icons/smile.gif
