Via Abbey Road's newspage I found that at least the film will be shown in Warner Brothers theatres as of October 10.
Here is a link the the WB website for addresses and indeed at "Coming Soon", it is listed.
Further specific info may follow.

London is not listed as "London" but e.g. as "West End".

Thanks FPSHOT. Some nice pictures, and it sounds like they had a good turnout of people.
I'm still not sure if I'm going to be able to go. I can only go on a weekend, and the next couple of weekends are impossible. Hopefully I'll make it though.

There is a nice article link there too...

This is sweet~
"Dhani came to all the rehearsals with guitar in hand to be with, as he states in the film, his friends and family, his uncles and his aunts and all the rest of the people that he had grown up with in his life," Kamen said. "He was in every rehearsal (but) never with the expectation of being onstage. He was there having fun with Eric and the guys and just appreciating all of what they were going to be doing for this special evening. It was Eric's encouragement that he should be onstage with them and that he should be playing with them."

There is a very long and very detailed eye witness report added just now which is great to read.
It's from someone who got Sam Brown tickets.
Everyone keeps telling of that surprise at the end on the movie for which hankies are needed .... super .... but no one says what it is graemlins/images/icons/confused.gif *which is probably for the best

Here is an article about Dhani at the UK premiere

Like father, like son Oct 9 2003
Liverpool Echo
FROM the moptop haircut to the sharp suit and cheeky smile Dhani Harrison is turning into a mirror image of his famous father.
The uncanny likeness between George and his son drew gasps of astonishment from fans last night as he arrived at the premiere of a film in honour of his famous father.
Dhani, who is 25, now looks the spitting image of his father during his heyday with the Beatles in the early 1960s.
In honour of his Dad, who died from throat cancer two years ago, he turned up on the arm of his Mum Olivia wearing a Beatles' inspired suit.
Dhani, who is also a musician and helped to complete his father's final album after his untimely death, was joined by the two surviving Beatles Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney at the UK premiere of a film about Harrison's tribute concert last year.
Macca, who was joined by heavily pregnant wife Heather, said: "Our feelings will never change for George - we loved the happy times and we are sad that George has gone."
Olivia and Dhani were heavily involved with the organising the tribute concert which took place at the Albert Hall and is chronicled in the film called A Concert For George Harrison.
Olivia said: "This is a close gathering of George's closest friends and family so it's always going to be emotional.
"This concert pays tribute to someone we all loved. I think he'd enjoy it."
Dhani added: "It was very cathartic.
"Only a small amount of people could be in the Albert Hall so it's good this is coming out."

Thanks very much for those links FPSHOT and Siobhan! Also HC for her sweet Dhani article! images/icons/smile.gif
That review from the person who got Sam Brown tickets was beautiful and emotional too.
Unfortunately, I think I know what the surprise is at the end, having inadvertantly read it somewhere else (can't quite remember where) but I certainly won't tell.

Here is a link to some great footage of the London Premiere.
It's filmed at the entrance of the theatre and it has short comments from Paul (seems like a rehearsed average statement, sorry), Bill Wyman, Dave Leyland, Olivia and Dhani.
The comment is in Dutch, not really interesting, but the interviews are just as they were.

This is wonderful! It is great to see Olivia and Dhani, Ringo, and Paul. Olivia spoke more here maybe than in the whole film. It is so nice to hear her. It was nice of Paul and Ringo to attend the London preimere after having attended the LA one as well. I thought that was very loving.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">For some reason I found this a very emotional line. Somehow the reality sometimes still escapes me. I still often speak of him in the present tense.
Anyway, I think our Dhani really wanted to be asked to be in the concert. Turned up with his guitar each day. images/icons/wink.gif How sweet that he waited till he was asked. Though I do understand how even he would be overawed by all of those legends.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">It's very hard for me not to speak of George in the present tense. images/icons/smile.gif Like George used to say, we are not our bodies, we are spirit soul...and when we die, we just remove the 'body garment'. But, even saints in India have manifested previous bodies after their apparent 'demise', coming back to their devotees, or like the story of 'a saint with two bodies' in Autobiography of a Yogi.
The body is just matter, but does not 'matter'. images/icons/smile.gif
So, it is hard sometimes to phrase things, but I try to avoid 'past tense' in my writing about George because doing so seems so false to me, deep down. I think I have done it a few times just because of thinking people would assume I am avoiding 'reality', but it's just the opposite.
He is so beautifully present and I think even more capable of experiencing the love from his fans. images/icons/smile.gif Now he can really know how much we love him (as if he could have any doubts, huh? graemlins/wink2.gif ).

I haven't seen it yet. The only place in the whole of London that is showing it is Covent Garden, and what with family commitments and everything else I haven't been able to get over there to see it. I am still hoping to, but it is looking more and more likely that I am just going to have to wait for the DVD next month.
