In a way surprising that only these three are there.

Still difficult to choose from Apple Scruffs or I Don't Care Anymore. I find Bye Bye Love a bit to messy, compared to the other two.

I went for Apple Scruffs, for the echo sound, the memory of hearing it way back then as B side of What Is Life and the fun he made recording it with his remark about the moustache being in the way for playing the harmonica.

I do like I Don't Care Anymore a lot too for the voice and the acoustic guitar.

I also voted for Apple Scruffs. I just love the way that he plays on that one, and his vocal on that one is really nice. And the harmonica bit is fun--reminds me of Dylan (but better!) It's always hard to chose a "best" when it comes to George, I don't think that he has any bad ones! Great quesiton, HC!!!

Went with "Apple Scruffs", one of my favorites... ever. "Bye Bye Love" is one of my least favorites... ever. And I also like "I Don't Care Anymore", but the vote was somehow obvious to me. images/icons/smile.gif

I voted for "Apple Scruffs" too. I don't like the other two very much.

I went for Apple Scruffs. Bye Bye Love is probably my least favourite George song, and I'm not very fond of I Don't Care Anymore either, although maybe I need to listen to this one a bit more. I have it on vinyl and MP3, but I don't often feel compelled to play it.
