Which would you like him to do ?
Just two things though, if possible...
1. Be imaginative: don't just pick you favorite ex-beatle mate song, find one that would be well suited for George's voice and style...
2. Songs written by George but sung by another fab (Photograph...) do not count...

Personally, I would go with:
"Crippled inside"
That guitar sounded so "George" to begin with and George did these rockabilly-type songs so well and seemed to love doing them as well.
"Weight of the world"
Great guitar possibilities, very Harri-ish lyrics.
"The songs we were singing"
Nice flashback kind of song, with room for some slide guitar. I can see Harri singing about the "Cosmic solutions".

Nice one ABCKO, I will do some research. There must be some, although I guess most of my suggestions will come from Ringo and John material.
I can hear one of you suggestions;
it's the weieieight - slide guitar
of the wooorld - slide guitar
etc.etc.

I was originally going to with "Act naturally" for the same reasons as "Crippled inside" but then the guitar rifts and lyrics of "WOTW" came in my head.
Imagine George's voice...
"It all comes down to who you crucify"
"You either kiss the future of the past goodbye"
"We can fly so hiiii-iiigh"
SLIDE
"Every heart has a hunger"
"I'm not getting any younger"
"I've got all the crosses I can bear-eaha-hear"

I like George on "It Don't Come Easy" even more than Ringo's rendition of it.
George covers - lessee. I have heard his voice as the lead voice on "All My Loving" on some of my Beatle videos from 1964 and it was a different experience than hearing Paul as the lead voice. Different and decidedly pleasant.
I could hear George doing "In My Life," "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" (maybe add the sitar in that one as well), "Long & Winding Road" and "She's Leaving Home." That would be something really special IMHO.

Sorry! I was thinking Beatles, as usual.
"It Don't Come Easy" sounds better with George as the lead voice IMHO.
"You Don't Know Me," "I've Had Enough!", "Beautiful Boy," and "Here Today." I think "Here Today" would be especially moving.
(I thought Paul did an excellent cover of "Something.")

It's funny you should mention this one cuz I have been listening to that one so much recently. In my fave version...he comes in sooo strong at the beginning, his voice is hoarse but powerful, and I think it is so wonderful and dramatic!! I was thinking to collect the various versions from the tour, with some looking, and make a tape of just this song...it's just so good. AND at the end he says "God bless" to John, Paul & Ringo, too.
