Why do they cite George's birthday as the 24th? There some sort of confusion surrounding the date of his birth?

I think he was born about half an hour or so before midnight on the 24th, but a lot of people still celebrate it on the 25th.

George found out in the early 90's that he was actually born about half an hour earlier than he had always thought, making his birthday actually the 24th, not the 25th. I suppose back then small mistakes like that were easily made, especially as he was born at home. George carried on celebrating his birthday on the 25th though.

Really? I wonder when he would prefer to be celebrated & honoured, then: the 24th or 25th.

George would probably say: everyday! Honour the ones you love everyday!

"A good deal of confusion as to his real birthday was solved recently when a family birth record noted him as being born shortly before midnight around 11:50 P.M.) on February 24th, 1943. He had believed his birthday was February 25th for his entire life."

I don't understand why they don't change that, if they know it.

I think of February 24 & 25 as two bonus days to celebrate George.

Thanks for the site!
