I was just wondering if anyone did anything to mark this sad occasion on the 29th last year?

Well, here at Links we shared quite a bit around this time. On the date, we meditated, we shared thoughts, reflections, poems...and stories of where we were when George passed. A few folks were fortunate enough to attend the tribute concert in England with Dhani and Olivia. Personally, I attended the memorial in L.A. at the Beatles star (Hollywood), which was very special on a few levels.
If you go to page four (at the bottom of the page, click on 'all tpoics'...then on page four), you can also see what many of us were doing at the time.
For me, it was hard, but in some respects, no harder than any other day when the material world stands between us & George. That said, though, I feel he is always close.

Where is page 4 and which page do you scroll to the bottom? I am not sure.
HC put it well. As sad as we all were when George died, I like to think that he is not far away from us. Somebody recently told me that George is as close to our hearts, minds and memories as we want him to be.
And we want him to be.
