I downloaded a 3-part interview from George's '74 tour from WinMX, the file says its from Long Beach and is part of the bootleg for that concert.
It was called "11 - Interview" through "13 - Interview" but i renamed it 1974 - George Harrison - Long Beach Interview 1*2*3 if anyone is interested in searching for it.
Anyway, the guy interviewing George is amusing, his name is Levi, he badgers George about how much money he really has, and of course George tells him that money isn't important graemlins/cool1.gif He talks about Billy Preston and Ravi, and he sounds happy... and hoarse. images/icons/frown.gif * The interview is laced with '70s lingo that really dates the interview, "That's heavy man, its a gas" graemlins/smoking1.gif *
George also gives an interesting plug to a Brit comedy group, unknown to Americans: "if anybody out there listening ever hears the name Monty Python's Flying Circus.. that's the funniest thing man!" He says that all they have to do is Americanize it a little and it'll be big in America too. graemlins/cyclops.gif *
The interviewer, excited that he's actually interviewing Beatle George, says "i mean me, a poor black boy from Orange County" to which George replies "well i'm a poor white boy from Liverpool!"
I thought i'd give some of the details for those who may never hear it graemlins/sad3.gif *and a message to WinMXers to look for it if you haven't heard it already.

*Peace* and Love!

Very George! George was very good at handling people.

That sounds like an interesting little interview. I've never heard it before. I'll look for it.

Monty Python, hey?
