OK George fans...got a good one here. Who can tell me about the guitar named in the subject line. I think I found a picture of it in the Anthology book (hard cover), early, very early. It is on page 26 in the upper left side of the page. George is with his mom and several guitars. The one in the lower right of the photo appears to be the Arnold Hoyer guitar. The photo is kinda small and that portion of the pic is fuzzy. Does this picture appear in another Beatles or Harrison specific book? If so, any info on when or what significance this guitar plays in George's career? As I said, early history, perhaps even pre-Beatles. Did he use it only then or did it crop up in his solo career too? Any info greatly appreciated

Here is an overview of guitars George used, but it does not have an Arnold Hoyer guitar on it, and also this site is not complete.

The one you mention with his mom is here

Here are some pictures of an Arnold Hoyer guitar.

There is a nice picture of George and many of his guitars in the Pirate Songs bootleg.

I have various books but did not see an Arnold Hoyer guitar there.

Thanks for the great links and info. Seems the one pic I found may be the one I've stumbled across. I knew George was a huge collector of guitars (seems natural) but I didn't realize he started so early...
Much appreciation!
