Is he REALLY George???

I was just looking for George sites when I found this page about a bed and breakfast in the US called Hard Days Nite (you know, the former house of his sister Louise). And then I saw this photo of George after a car crash in 1972. I don't know why but I can't cut it, so you have to go and look for it:

Do you think he is really George?

Oh, I've seen that pic before...it's not as bad as it looks. He was in a car accident and bled a lot, that's all. (Wounds to the scalp area bleed a lot, what can I say?)

Yes, I recall this picture also. I think Patti was the one worse off. I believe she had bedrest for some time after this.

Yes, HC. It was February 1972. George was treated for a head wound only & Pattie suffered a fractured rib & a concussion due to a car accident in which they ran into a light pole because of a power cut in the area.
