I was just there a few months back. I was more relieved to know that I could still find my way without a map even after all these years!
I couldn't believe they built like 3 more houses at the top of the street! Man! I'd hate to live up there during an earthquake!!!

VERY NICE site! It does justice to the house and the neighborhood, as well as discussing the song. If only more "historic site" web pages were this well done.
Arigato for the link! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/smile1.gif

It gave me a reason to play this song again over and over again, and it remains to be a very inspiring one.
Other than backwards played tapes etc. I always liked the harmonies and the 'keyboard'.

Invitation noted, don't know when I will be around there, but it is a challange to get photographed at Blue Jay Way.

Thanks HC for originally putting this up and FPSHOT for bringing it up.
The organ started smoking - sounds like my computer.

That's a great site. It's nice to see what the house and area look like. It's probably the nearest I'll ever get to LA! Thanks! graemlins/thumbsup2.gif

Blue Jay Way was part of our Beatles Tour. We had this cheap guide (she listens to the name HC) that didn't check the site before we went... graemlins/images/icons/rolleyes.gif so we didn't know which house it was.
Just in case, I almost taped every house on that street that looked a bit from the sixties....
And Yes! it's on my tape. I know exactly which one it was now. HC's husband even climbed on the wall to try to peek in.... images/icons/smile.gif
It was built in a kind of a 'Rietveld style' (fot hose who are interested, he was a famous Dutch architect)
We even stole two roses.... graemlins/images/icons/shocked.gif
