Apr 16 1990 - George appears in Jim Capaldi's video for ‘Oh Lord, Why Lord.' George had done backup for the same song on Capaldi's album ‘Some Come Running.' The video was the only promo video shown at the Nelson Mandela concert at Wembley.

ATMP 7 votes
What is life 4 votes
So, for the final round, we have two songs left
What Is Life
Isn't it a pity (version one)
Voting time again and we count after 10 votes.

As I said before, it is a surprising winner to me and certainly not my #1, however, since 1970 we have been able to get to know the album from beginning to end, including LP3, and all got our preferences even probbably changing throughout the period.
But, I still remember when this one came out and I was so enthousiastic about it, cause it still is a very nice uptempo tune, the tambourine sound from this whole album inclusive, Ringo coming in with the drums after the instrumental Badge, Klaus repeating George's riff, the clear vocals AND Olivia http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/blush1.gif covering it.
Very popular in charts.
Good winner.

I like it a lot too. Not my fav on this album of course. MSL is the 'perfect song' in my book. I don't see anything wrong with voting for the 'obvious choice'.

My choice was "Art Of Dying"... "Run Of The Mill"... and then "All Things Must Pass". But they were all dropped and then we have a "dark horse" winning like "What Is Life", which is, however, a good song.
And it's not that I don't want to be your cousin, old_moon... I just felt empty without the "Dark Horse" LP cover under my name. It just wasn't right. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
