'Soft touch I wrote in the Vrigin Islands. The tune came because I was playing Run Of The Mill and at the very end there is a horn line, I was playing this melody on the guitar and it became Soft Touch.

It's all very simple and the lyrics reflect everything that was going on in the Islands...the wind, the cool breeze, the palm trees, the new moon rising.

------------------
Poison penmen sneak, have no nerve to speak
Make up lies then they leak 'm out
Behind a pseudonym, the rottenness in them
Reaching out trying to touch me

just for our Soft Touch

------------------
Since our problems have been our own creation
They also can be overcome
When we use the power provided free to everyone
This is love, this is la la la-la love
This is love, this is la la la-la love

Wonderful song. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
