Jerry wrote that he has trouble getting in there. I have not, so in case others experience that as well, here is a small review of what you can find there;
It opens with My Sweet Lord 2000 and you must wait for all the images to come up so you don't miss anything (few seconds on my pc)
Biography of George and the liner notes as in the CD
You can link to hear parts of 14 songs and it also shows the handwritten lyrics
Album Art where you can read the original letter of the designers of the album package
Media shows commercials made for the release and has the new Let It Down song to hear together with a very nice pop-art video
Free Screensavers and desktops to be downloaded.
Postcards to send free of charge to an e-mail address (fellow-moderator, one is on his way to you)
Links where to buy the CD in various countries (like Chile)
And a lot of artwork.
I find it a very cool site.

Sounds good, thanks for that. I'll be sure to check it out http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/thumbsup.gif

The site doesn't seem to be working for me either, even though I downloaded all the programs needed for that... and my computer has broadband... I'm going to try again... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

Thanks for the info. Now I can add the link to the database. I can get the site to work, but only if I type in the URL, go take a shower, have dinner, and then come back to the computer. Until I get cable internet access, I don't think I'll bother to visit the site again.

You can always shower with your computer, then take it to dinner afterwards. Works for me. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Jerry, this is the topic about the site of George. I don't know if anything much has changed.
On my computer it does not take that long to get the page open, so I will do a check and report under your topic about any changes.

There's a warning on the main page that "this site is not for the faint of bandwidth or resolution". I'm not sure why they set it out like that either, it's going a little too slow for my liking on this computer so I might check it out later on the laptop.
