For those who have seen the Rutles' "All You Need Is Cash" you may know about George taking part in this film.

I for one, am embarressed to say I did not even recognize him the first time I saw it on TV! NOW it sounds like George and looks like George! Back then, ZOOOM! Right over my head.

Did anyone else miss him the first time they saw it?

I remember when it first aired. It was a riot! I enjoyed the whole movie. And yes, I did recognize George as the Interviewer.

I love that flick! I recognized George & was so busy laughing, I missed half of what Michael was saying because I was so shock (& stunned) that George was doing that bit!!!

Oh, and yes, I recognized George the first time I saw the show. I remember thinking that he didn't look that cute.

I love the Rutles - I even talked my parents into letting me skip some boring school function or other to watch it the first time it was on back in the 70's! I remember thinking George looked kind of scary in that get-up!

I used to force (not that it took much arm-twisting!) Lynner to show the Rutles to me every time I came to Chicago before I lived here....that and the Secret Policeman's Ball!("it's a balloon, Penelope...") http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif
